The Fourth Edition Is Coming

After a long summer in which we shook the sand from between our toes and the last soreness from our legs, it is official: on 9 May 2026, the fourth edition of North Sea Ultra starts on Sylt.

Since our last race, we have gathered your feedback, spoken with local authorities, volunteers and partners, and set the course for the coming year. It is wonderful to see that ultra running has now found a home on the island. In 2026 we can rely on even more support: new communities are actively involved for the first time, and familiar partners such as the fire brigade, parish and Gosch are naturally back with us.

Registration Opens for 2026

Official registration opens on 20 September 2025 at 08:00. There are 300 solo places and 100 relay places. Prices are staggered according to a simple principle: first come, first run.
